Meet Color Studio, Our New Color Palette Generator
Our new Color Studio is a free color palette generator for websites and apps. It brings matching colors, shades, contrast checks and CSS gradients into one workspace, so you can keep working with the same palette as an idea takes shape. Everything runs in your browser, with no account needed, in English or French.
Find a combination you like
You can start with a color you already use, browse 48 ready-made palettes, or generate something new. The collection ranges from soft pastels and earthy tones to bold combinations and neutrals with a bright accent.
The interactive wheel makes it easy to explore what goes together. Try neighboring hues for a quieter look, or complementary colors for a stronger contrast in hue. Drag a color around the wheel and the others follow the selected harmony. Lock any colors you want to keep, and use Undo whenever an experiment takes you in the wrong direction.
Turn those colors into something useful
A few good swatches are a starting point. A website also needs backgrounds, readable labels and buttons that stand out.
Color Studio can create lighter and darker shades for those roles, with a click to copy a shade’s code. Its contrast checker helps you compare text against a background and suggests adjustments to either color when needed. Each pair needs checking separately; a harmonious palette is not automatically an accessible interface.
For implementation, you can convert between HEX, RGB, HSL, Oklab and OKLCH, build a CSS gradient, or export the palette as CSS variables, SCSS or JSON. That is handy whether you are experimenting in a design mockup or already editing a stylesheet.
Try your choices on a small card or form before applying them everywhere. If the layout still needs sample content, our Lorem Ipsum generator’s HTML and list options can help you see how it feels with real text lengths.
Keep an idea for later
Found a combination worth keeping? Copy its share link or save its palette code. You can reopen it later or send it to a colleague, who can explore their own variations. Save separate links for the ideas you want to compare.
Try Color Studio with your current brand color, or pick a starting palette and see where it takes you.
